Our ideas portal provides an avenue for you to submit, discuss, and upvote ideas, fostering a collaborative environment for improvements. Through this portal, we streamline the idea submission process, enhance transparency, and encourage active participation from our diverse user base.
Create an account on the ideas portal
If you don’t already have an account on our ideas portal, to quickly create one, follow the steps below.
Go to the PeopleHR ideas portal>
On the far right, click Log in / Sign up.
Enter your email address, then click Next.
Enter your first and last name, then click Sign up.
You’ll receive a verification email to complete the sign-up process.
Navigate the ideas portal
In the left-hand menu, you can see the following topics:
My ideas: Ideas you’ve submitted.
My votes: View ideas you’ve voted on.
My subscriptions: View ideas you’ve subscribed to.
Recently Released ideas: Ideas we’ve taken forward and launched in products.
Filter By Category: Select the relevant product and view ideas.
🤓 Tip: If you select one of the above topics, the Filter By Category reflects that topic. To get back to the unfiltered display, click the Access logo at the top or the X on the topic.
Submit an idea
To add an idea to the portal, watch the video or follow the steps below.
Sign in to the PeopleHR ideas portal >
Click + Create Idea, then select the relevant product.
Enter the details of your idea:
A clear name that's relevant to the idea.
Recommended: Add a user role filter to reports.
Not recommended: Caroline's idea 2026.
A detailed description of what the new or improved feature does.
Any associated files to support your idea. This is optional.
The organisation you work for.
A contact name.
Consent on whether we can contact you for more information.
Click Add Idea.
Vote for an idea
In the ideas portal, you can see other people's ideas, and if you like them, you can vote for them. To do this, follow the steps below.
Under Filter By Category, select the relevant product.
For the idea you'd like to vote for, click Vote.
Unsubscribe from ideas
When you vote for an idea, you're automatically subscribed to any updates on the idea. If you'd like to stop receiving updates on the idea, follow the steps below.
Click My subscriptions, then select the relevant idea.
In the top-right, click Subscribed.
🤓Tip: You can resubscribe to ideas in the same way, just click Subscribe.
