If the user status appears to be both as a manager and an employee, their reporting line needs a refresh.
To do this:
Click Access Button
then click Employee.
Select a relevant employee then click Personal.
Remove the name from Reports to and Additional Reports To.
Click outside of the box to save.
Re-insert the name on Reports to and Additional Reports To.
