Written by Joshua Shooter

Navigator Screen is the landing screen inside PeopleHR, bringing your most important actions, alerts, and data to you the moment you log in so you can act quickly, stay informed, get instant answers, stay connected and work in a space tailored to you without jumping between modules.

Once the feature is enabled in your system, a pop‑up appears and guides you through the key functions of the Navigator Screen.

Personalisation

Every user can personalise their Navigator screen so it fits the way they work. You can add, remove and reorder Quick Actions, Sections and Panels, and any changes you make take effect straight away and are saved to your profile.

To customise the panel, follow the video or steps below.

  1. Open the customisation panel under Panels or from the Action Belt.

  2. Drag items to rearrange them then remove anything you do not use to cut down on clutter.

You can also choose how your Quick Sections are displayed.

  • In Rows view, your sections appear one after another in a single scrollable layout. This works well when you want everything visible at the same time.

  • In Tabs view, each section sits in its own tab which keeps the screen tidy and easy to move around. This is particularly helpful when you have a larger number of sections.

Quick Asks

Quick Asks helps you get answers quickly and complete tasks by asking questions in natural language. You can explore our suggested prompts library to enhance your experience and save time.

📌Note: Quick Asks is different to Copilot because it only supports features that already exist within the platform.

Quick Actions

Quick Actions give you fast shortcuts to common tasks like booking leave, submitting a timesheet or uploading a document.

Action Required

Quick Actions help you get things done in just two clicks. Explore the quick actions library and personalise it to enhance your experience and save time.

📌Note: Action Required highlights what needs your attention, using red for urgent items and amber for important ones so you can see priorities at a glance.

Quick Section

Quick Sections brings all your people data into one place so you can find information quickly. The Navigator Screen organises data by persona based on each user’s level of access.

Quick Panel

The Quick Panel brings all your alerts, email messages, engagement updates, and applause together in one place, keeping you informed without ever leaving the Navigator screen.

📌Note: You can now connect your work or school Microsoft Outlook email using Microsoft authentication.
