If your news post is not formatting correctly, this may be due to this being copied from an external source such as Word. Paste all text into the plain text feature within the common box on the right-hand side.

If your news post is displaying incorrectly, covering the entire page, this is due to a PDF file being uploaded the wrong way.

To resolve this, delete the faulty news, and then add them again by using the document manager.

If the delete icon is not visible, delete these from the mobile app or by following the below steps:

  1. In your PeopleHR, open News on the Dashboard

  2. Open DEV tools on your browser. There are different ways in which you can open this, depending on the browser used:

    • Google Chrome: Press Control + Alt + I or F12 on your kerboard.

    • Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox: Press Ctrl + Shift + I or F12.

    • Safari: Go to Preferences in Safari, click the Advanced tab and then select Show Develop menu in menu bar. Then, press Cmd + Option + C.

  3. For Windows, show the mobile version of the web page by clicking the Toggle Device icon:

  4. For Mac, show the mobile version of the page from the Develop menu, by selecting Enter Responsive Design Module.

  5. You will now be able to see the Bin icon and delete the faulty news.

Next, add the news again, and ensure any files are uploaded via the Document Manager icon:
