Staff turnover report

How to use the staff turnover report.

To access this report, click into the Reports tab then Staff Turnover Report.

The top segment will show three calculations which mean:

  • The starters in the current year is the number of employees that have a start date in the current year.

  • The leavers in the current year is the number of employees that have a leave date in the current year.

  • The constant in the current year is the number of employees that have a start date before the current year and have no leaving date at the report run date.

Percentages are calculated as follows:
Constants = (constants + leavers + starters) * 100
Starters = (constants + leavers + starters) * 100
Leavers = (constants + leavers + starters) * 100

By Job Role segment displays all job roles and the statistics for each, which you have specified in your system.

By Department segment displays all departments and the statistics for each, which you have specified in your system.

Cost Of Staff Turnover segment will only be shown to system administrators.

The cost of staff turnover will be a generic graphic, each segment will be predefined from an industry standard figure and will be multiplied by the turnover figure, calculating a value for the segment and the total segment.


Each segment is calculated based on the initial values which are selected when opening the report to give you a real time value of your company staff turnover costs in the calendar selected.

📌Note: At least one department, location and employee must exist in order to run this report.
