Error message "Invalid API key"

After creating a hotsheet for payroll, I receive an 'invalid API key' error message when I click 'Run all queries' in my spreadsheet.

To resolve this issue, check the following:

  • Ensure you copy the API key using the copy icon next to the API key field.

  • Ensure you give the API key access to the relevant query.

To check if the API has the correct access:

  1. Click Access Button image then click HR Admin.

  2. Go to Settings then API.

  3. Select the relevant API key then select QueryBuilder.

  4. Select the relevant query then click Save.
