Create an API key

Generate an Application Programming Interface (API) key from PeopleHR.

An Application Programming Interface is a set of rules and protocols that allows different software applications to communicate with each other.


It defines the methods and data structures that developers can use to interact with the software component, service, or resource.

To create an API key, follow the steps below.

  1. Click Access Button, then click HR Admin.

  2. Click Settings, then click API.

  3. Click the plus + icon, then enter the API name.

  4. Select the relevant endpoints, then click Save.

πŸ€“Tip: To copy the key, click the copy icon. To paste it, you can press CTRL + V on your keyboard.
