People HR integrates with the Greenhouse application tracking system to allow you to transfer candidates from Greenhouse to new starters in PeopleHR.

This streamlines the process of hiring new employees and getting them set up within PeopleHR. Once you have hired a candidate in Greenhouse, an employee record will be created in PeopleHR with the following information populated from Greenhouse:

  • Employee Id.

  • First Name.

  • Last Name.

  • Gender (Female by default).

  • Email.

  • Start Date.

  • Job Role.

  • Job Role Effective Date.

  • Location.

  • Department.

  • Address.

  • Personal Phone Number.

  • ATS ID.

  • CV.

  • Covering Letter.

Set-Up:

  1. Create an API key with access to ATS and Employee endpoints.

  2. Create a new account on the integrations page, or log in using your email and password.

  3. Click on Greenhouse Settings, then enter a unique security code that you need to save somewhere securely.

  4. Click Activate Integration, then copy the link in the Your Greenhouse Integration Endpoint field.

  5. Log into Greenhouse and go to the webhooks page to create a webhook.

  6. Select Candidate has been hired, then paste in your Greenhouse Integration Endpoint link.

  7. Enter the security key you created in step 4, then create a webhook.

When you hire candidates within Greenhouse, they will automatically port into People HR.

It is also possible to feed the optional Company field within People from a custom field in Greenhouse. To do this:

  1. Go to the Greenhouse page, and click Add Field.

  2. Name the field, then choose Single Select from the dropdown type.

  3. Enter the company or companies you wish to be available in your jobs, then click Save.

  4. Click on the pencil icon next to the field you have just created.

  5. Once the Edit Job Field window has opened, scroll down to where you see the Immutable Field Key and then copy the name of the custom field provided.

  6. Go back into your integration page, into the Greenhouse page, and paste this information.

πŸ“ŒNote: If you wish to send other details for the applicant, include the Green House Customer key for that field.
