Create an email template for applicants.

You can create email templates to send to applicants throughout the recruitment process, such as inviting them to an interview, hiring, or rejecting. You can use merge tags to make emails more personal to the recipient.

To create an email template for your ATS, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Settings then click ATS.

  2. Click Email Templates, then click the plus icon to create a new template.

    • To edit an existing template, click the pencil icon.

    • To delete an existing template, click the X symbol.

  3. Give your template a relevant name and description, and select the relevant sender.

    πŸ“ŒNote: When adding multiple CCs and BBCs to your email, separate these with a semicolon without space.

  4. If relevant, attach a file or switch to HTML.

  5. To locate the available merge field options, click the tag icon, then click Save.

Format text

Because Microsoft Word and the PeopleHR text editor are two different programs, your text might be formatted differently.

Before pasting your text from Word in PeopleHR, strip all formatting or copy the text and paste it into the Notepad application on your device.

Alternatively, click the Word icon and paste your text.
