Generic worksheet validation messages

Unable to complete data upload due to data loader validation messages.

We compiled below a list of generic validation messages for upload data worksheets and their description:

Details

Please select a file with .xls extension (case-senstitive) to validate.

Ensure you save your file as .xls type then upload again.

Invalid file name. File name should be in "SubDomain Name"_WorksheetName.xls format (case-sensitive).

Ensure you format the file name as follows: SubDomain_WorksheetName.xls.

For example:

Uploaded Excel File should have only one worksheet.

Ensure you don't use multiple sheets or filters against your data in the file you upload.

After removing filters, copy and paste the data into a new worksheet template.

Name of single worksheet available in uploaded excel workbook should be "NAME"

Ensure the worksheet tab name is correct. For example, if you upload sickness data, the valid name is SicknessData.

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: The name is case-sensitive with no spaces.

โ€œWORKSHEET NAMEโ€ should have NUMBER columns.

Ensure you've not removed or added any column from the worksheet template.

To avoid this, you can download the worksheet template and fill it out again before validating.

All expected columns should be available in "WORKSHEET NAME" at required position.

Ensure you've not moved or renamed columns.

"WORKSHEET NAME" should contain data in at-least one row.

Ensure your worksheet doesn't have any empty rows between rows with data.

Uploaded Excel File should not have more than NUMBER rows.

You can upload a specified amount of data lines at a time. For example, when you upload sickness data, you can import up to 1000 rows.
