Holiday carryover allows you to carry over unused holiday to the next holiday year. You can specify a holiday carryover rule for the whole company or for each office location in PeopleHR.
To do this, watch the video or follow the steps below:
Click Access Button
, then click HR Admin.
Click Settings, then click the Holiday & Absences tab.
Open the Location drop-down menu, then select the relevant location.
In the Max Holiday Carry Over Days and Max Holiday Carry Over Hours fields, enter the maximum carryover.
πNote: If some employees' holiday entitlement is in days and some employees' is in hours, you need to populate both of these fields.
You can also set an expiry date for carried over annual leave, which allows you to choose the month that carried over leave will expire.

If you missed setting the holiday rule before the new year, you can instead manually add the carryover value to the employees' current holiday entitlement.
