Mandatory ATS questions are skipped by applicants

Applicants are bypassing mandatory ATS questions.

πŸ“ŒNote: If the question is a Multiple Choice type, then it's expected behavior to be bypassed even if set as mandatory, because not selecting any option is a choice.

This is caused by the questions not being marked as mandatory. To resolve this, you need to ensure the questions are visible to applicants and mandatory by following the steps below.

  1. Click Access Button image then click ATS.

  2. Click the Vacancies tab, then double-click the vacancy in question.

  3. Click the Questions tab, then go to the Applicant Question section.

  4. Click the pencil icon Image of the pencil icon next to a question.

  5. Tick the Is Mandatory? option.

Ensure that any questions you require the applicant to complete are marked as mandatory.

Once you've done this, to ensure the questions appear correctly, we recommend you to submit a test application.
