Edit a leaver's reason for leaving

The system doesn't allow you to edit the reason for leaving if the employee's final day of employment is in the past. In this case, you need to rehire the employees with the entitlement they had initially before leaving, and then mark them as leavers again.

Alternatively, you can store this information in the employee's record by using a logbook.
