If you have an employee who previously left the company and is coming back, or they were made a leaver by mistake, the way you correct this depends on their leave date:
If the final employment date is in the future, you can use the leaver wizard.
If the final employment date is in the past, you can rehire them.
πNote: If you're rehiring an employee who was made a leaver by mistake, you need to enter their original start date and enter their pro-rated holiday entitlement, based on the leave date.
Check a leaver's holiday entitlement
If you've made someone a leaver by mistake, before you rehire them, you need to check their holiday entitlement so that you can enter this in their new employment. To do this, follow the steps below.
Click Access Button
then click Employee.
Click Quick Filters then select Leavers.
Click the relevant employee then click the Planner tab.
Click Settings then, next to This Year, click the clock icon.
Rehire a leaver
Click Access Button
then click Employee.
Click Quick Filters then select Leavers.
Click the relevant employee then click the Overview tab.
Under Quick Actions, click Rehire.
Enter the relevant details then, if required, click Help me calculate.
When the pop-up appears, click Yes.
