The new starter tasks email option will trigger as soon as the employee profile has been completed.

If this has not triggered the email ensure the email option has been selected with the circle selection option to the left of the email field.

There may be a extra space at the beginning or end of the email that can stop this from sending, check for these or remove and readd in the email ensuring no spaces are present.
