Earnie Payroll has a flexible import option, which you can set up to import data from CSV files. You can then create queries in PeopleHR, export them to CSV files and import them into Earnie Payroll. To export the data from PeopleHR, follow the steps below.
πNote: Before you do this, you need to download the Ernie integration file.
Create a query
Click Access Button
then click HR Admin.
Click Queries then click the plus + icon.
Select the following options:
Address
Salary Type
Salary Amount
Total Salary
Bank Name
Bank Code
Account Code
Account Name
Date of Birth
Start Date
Department
Personal Email
Job Role
Known As
NI/SSN
Title
Personal Phone Number
Final Day of Employment
Working Hours
Gender
Click Next then, in the Name field, enter Payroll: Earnie Extract.
Click Next then click Export.
Configure Earnie Payroll
In Earnie Payroll, click File then click Import Data.
Click Add then, when the prompt appears, click No.
Rename New Structure 1, for example, to PeopleHR.
Click the Details tab then click Browse.
Select the query you exported from PeopleHR.
Click the Fields tab then, in the Fields column, enter the following fields in this order:
Code
Employee ID
Title
First Name
Last Name
Known As
DOB
Start Date
Job Role
Department
NI
Salary
Postcode
Add 1
Add 2
Add 3
Add 4
Personal Phone
Bank Name
Bank Code
Account Code
Account Name
Click Save then click the Options tab.
Under On Import, from the drop-down menus, select the relevant options.
Under After Import, select whether you want to rename the file, delete it or do nothing.
πNote: To ensure you can't accidentally import the same file again, we recommend you select to rename or delete the file.
If you need Earnie Payroll to pick up data automatically, select the Import Automatically on Log-in check box.
Click Import.
