When trying to access the Microsoft mail merge document, you may encounter issues with the document if your internal IT have set up restrictions for external sources. For example, the error message below.
To disable the restrictions on the document, you will need to:
Close out of the Word document, then right-click the document.
Click Properties, then tick the Unblock.
Click Apply, then Save.
Once the above is completed, you can open the Word document again, and the error message should be gone.
πNote: If you do not have the option to unblock the file, you will need to speak with your IT department about this, as this would be due to your internal security settings.
