What's new

Session timeout behaviour update for PeopleHR in Evo

We have updated how session timeout is applied for users accessing PeopleHR inside the Access Evo workspace.

What's changing

Session timeout is now determined by the email domain a user logs in with:

  • Verified domain — if a user's email matches a domain on your organisation's verified domain list in Evo, their session timeout will follow the value configured in Access Evo.

  • Unverified domain — if a user's email does not match a verified domain (e.g. a personal email address), their session timeout will follow the value configured in PeopleHR (HR Admin → Settings → Company).

Who is affected

This change affects organisations that have PeopleHR running inside the Evo workspace and have users logging in with email addresses that are not on their Evo verified domain list.

What you may need to do

  • Review your verified domain list in Evo and ensure it includes all work email domains used by your users.

  • Review your session timeout setting in PeopleHR (HR Admin → Settings → Company) to ensure it reflects an appropriate value for any users not covered by a verified domain.

  • No action is required if all of your users log in with a verified work email domain.

Bug fixes:

  • Resolved an issue where the weekly filter on the Authorisations > Timesheet page was only showing pending assignments instead of both timesheets and assignments.

  • Fixed an issue where queries containing payroll details were failing to load.

  • Resolved an issue where using a query via Advanced Search in the Employee List was returning no results despite the query containing matching records.

  • Fixed an issue where admins were unable to add a consultant to the system, with no error response shown when clicking Add.

  • Resolved an issue where approval emails sent via Team > Playlists were incorrectly showing the requester's name as the approver rather than the approving manager.

  • Fixed an issue where uploading multiple other events on the same date via bulk upload was returning an "overlapped entries" error, even when the total duration did not exceed a working day.
