With an interactive ripple, your users perform specific actions within the system so that your interactive workflow continues and completes successfully.

Check out the steps available for interactive ripple in the table below.

Step

Details

Add Logbook

Select a specific logbook that you wish for the employee to fill out.

You can view all in-use logbooks. Simply select the logbook you wish the employee to complete.

β€‹πŸ“ŒNote: If you launch a ripple to an employee who doesn't have access to the logbook selected, they're not able to complete this.

Audio

Add either an audio file from your computer or an audio link during the creation of this step and give a description of what this is.

The employee has a play button within their interactive ripple so that they can start or pause this audio clip.

Checklist

You can use a checklist step on its own or gather a number of checklist steps to create a to-do list for the employee.

Add a description such as Read Company Handbook or Return Company Uniform. The employee then marks once actioned.

Document Upload

This step prompts an employee to upload a document to their record.

Select a relevant document type such as a standard document, a right-to-work document, or a background check and add a description for the employee to follow.

When setting it to Right To Work or Background Check, employees can also fill in additional information related to this document.

E-signature

This allows the employee to add an electronic signature.

You can add this at any stage of an interactive ripple, but most likely at the end of a ripple to sign this off.

Add a description and any accompanying notes for the employee to view when signing.

Once signed, a time or date stamp and the employee's IP address are logged upon signing.

Question

Create a question that an employee can answer during their interactive ripple.

You can add as many answers as you like here. Employees are only able to select one.

You can add certain rules so that if a specific answer is selected, the next few steps of a ripple can be skipped.

If you haven't built the next few steps of your ripple yet, simply save this step as it is, build the rest of your ripple and then go back to define where to skip to.

Section Heading

Use this as a header for parts of the interactive ripple, a welcome message, or use as a disclaimer at the bottom.

Remove the title Section Heading and replace it with the text you wish the employee to be shown.

Video

Add either a video file from your computer or a video link during the creation of this step and give a description of what this is.

The employee has a play button within their interactive ripple so that they can start or pause this clip.
