Create a query for employee holidays

Create a report showing employee holidays.

As an administrator, to build a holiday report, use the query builder to extract information from the system in the form of a report. Export the report to CSV or print it.

To build a holiday report:

  1. Click Access Button image then click HR Admin.

  2. Click Queries then click the plus icon.

  3. On the left-hand side, select Holidays.

  4. In the right-hand selection area, tick:

    • Holiday Status.

    • Holiday Start Date.

    • Holiday End Date.

    • Holiday Durations (Days).

  5. Click Next, then in the filters list, select Holiday Status.

  6. Select the Does Not Equal filter, then click Rejected:

  7. To limit the report to a specific period, select Holiday Start Date.

  8. In the Filter On section, select an option.

    πŸ“ŒNote: To filter between two specific dates, you can use the Greater Than and Less Than options. For example, if you wish to view holidays booked in the time frame from 01/01/24 - 30/06/24, select Greater than 31/12/2020 and Less than 01/07/2024.

  9. Click Next, then enter a relevant query name.

  10. Select a category, enter a description, then click Next.

  11. To export or print, click Export to and select CSV or Printer.

To see the approvers of the requests, select the fields Holiday Request Approver and Holiday Approved By.

πŸ“ŒNote: If you want to find out the approval date of the request, include Holiday Last Action Date. This will provide a date the request was last actioned.

To see who deleted holidays you can use the fields Deleted Holiday and Holiday Updated By.

The Holiday Updated Date Time field will time stamp the date and time the request was last updated.
