When calculating the Bradford factor score, keep in mind the following:
The sickness reason has to be included in the absence scheme for the absence to be calculated.
If the sickness reasons have been amended to be included or not in the absence scheme after the absences were added to the employee's record, then this will not take effect retroactively and you need to remove and read the sicknesses in question.
Bradford factor runs on a 12 month period if not set otherwise within system settings, meaning it takes into consideration sicknesses from the past 12 months, today's date not included.
If there is no working day or other type of absence between these sick days, these will be counted as 1 Spell, even if the absences are added separately for each day, as exemplified below:
🤓Tip: For a planner refresh, save all sickness entries in the last 12 months or based on your calculation period.
📌Note: If there’s a holiday or other event, any sickness recorded on those days won’t be included in the score calculation.
