When uploading documents to the PeopleHR you will need to make sure its complacent with the points below in order to make sure you don't experience any issues when uploading the document.

If you're experiencing this issue, try the following troubleshooting options:

  • Try again from a different browser and an incognito tab.

  • Reinstall your browser and ensure to use the most up-to-date version.

  • No double spaces in the document name.

  • No special characters in the document name.

  • Make sure the size and the file type are the ones supported.

  • Copy the document and convert to pdf.

  • If the document contains many links to external sites, remove these.

πŸ“ŒNote: If the size is too large, you can use external sources to compress the document or split it into 2 PNG smaller images.

If you experience this error when adding a document template from Settings to a user's record, this can be due to the merge tags used in the document. For example, if you are using the tag [[Screen Name.Field Name]] to pick up information from a logbook added to the user's record, you need to make sure that the field in question is not blank in the user's logbook.

If the issue persists, raise a new case online and reference the title of this article providing the following:

  • Confirmation you performed the above troubleshooting.

  • Copy of the document.

  • Screenshots of tasks in question and of error messages.

  • Names of users affected.

πŸ“ŒNote: With the change to URL's this may have had an impact on any of your security software measures in place, ensure these have been updated to accommodate the change.
