To check what's been registered in the system, you can create a query on expenses.

Those will be all registered in the system. If they are not there it means that they haven't been saved and submitted properly.
The reasons why draft expenses disappeared may include:
User logged out of the app and closed it then logged back in.
Mobile app has been updated.
Mobile app has been deleted and reinstalled.
App cache has been cleared.
Phone software system has been updated.
The expense drafts are on a different device.
πNote: Draft expenses are stored on the device within the app cache, not uploaded to our servers. They won't show on the desktop or other devices until they are submitted.
