You can use the bulk actions accrual rule when employees are on an irregular working pattern and accrue entitlement based on their hours worked.

Prepare an employee for accrual

  1. Click Access Button image then click Employee.

  2. Click the relevant employee then click the Planner tab.

  3. Click Settings then set the entitlement for this year and next year to 0.

  4. Select the Accrue Entitlement check box.

Set the accrual amount

The Hours Accrued field will be calculated based on the Holiday Entitlement % field in settings, which by default is set to 12.07%.

To set the accrual, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Access Button image then click HR Admin.

  2. Click Settings, then select Holidays & Absence and scroll down the page to find Holiday Entitlement %.

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: This value is the percentage of hours worked by the employee, as this is converted into holiday entitlement. You can edit this to suit your company's policies.

Assign accrual manually

Input the hours worked by an employee for the system to work out how many hours of holiday they have accrued:

  1. Click Access Button image then click HR Admin.

  2. Go to Bulk Actions select Holiday and Other Events.

  3. Use the filters to select the group of employees you wish to add their hours worked then click Next.

  4. Under the New Hours Worked column, add the hours worked by the employee for the system to work out how many hours of holiday they've accrued.

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: When you add the hours worked you need to add this in hours and minutes, not decimals.

The Planner value may differ from what is shown in the user's planner settings due to a conversion to hours, however, you can use a calculator to calculate decimals to time.
