Delete holiday templates

How to delete public holiday templates no longer in use.

To delete a holiday template:

  1. Click Access Button image then click HR Admin.

  2. Click Settings then click the Holiday & Absences tab.

  3. Click on the list next to Default Public Holiday Template.

  4. Select +(Manage This List).

  5. Click on the Pen icon next to the relevant template.

  6. Click on Delete button, then click Yes.

  7. Click Done.

If you're not able to see the Delete button, this means that the template is used by system users. To find the employees using that template, create the following query:

  1. Click Access Button image then click HR Admin.

  2. Click on Queries, then click on the plus icon.

  3. From the left hand list, select:

    • Employee Details.

    • Leavers.

  4. From the right hand list, select Public Holiday Template.

  5. Click Next.

  6. Click on Public Holiday Template, and add the filter:

    • Equals: Select the name of the template you want to delete.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Give the query a name, and click Next.

  9. Click on Options and select Include Leavers.

  10. Click Save.

You will need then to go to the records showed on the query and change their holiday template. Once the holiday template is not in use any more, the delete button will show.

πŸ“ŒNote: You will not be able to edit or delete the default England & Wales template in the system.
