PeopleHR uses the effective date set for auditing purposes only and the system will update the field immediately.
The information entered within the field will take place immediately after the change, this isn't dependent on the effective date entered.
To check this information, click on the Eye icon next to the each field.
Changes made to employees Profile
I have changed the manager for an employee with an effective in the future and it shows as their current manager.
