If you have a document that you need an employee to sign, you can upload it to PeopleHR and request that the employee signs it electronically.

If you're an admin, you have permission to do this by default and, if required, you can amend the access rights for managers so they can also upload documents.

To upload a document for an employee to sign, follow the steps below.

πŸ“ŒNote: Once the employee signs the document, you can't make any further changes. We recommend checking that you're happy with the document before you follow the steps.

  1. Click Access Button image then click Employee.

  2. Select the relevant employee then click the Documents tab.

  3. Select from the following options.

Upload a document from your computer

  1. Drag and drop the file from your computer or select Click here to upload.

  2. Select the relevant category then, if required, select Employee Access.

  3. If required, select Manager Access then select Signature Required.

πŸ“ŒNote: If you're a manager uploading a document, you can't amend the Manager Access setting.

  4. Click Save.

Use an existing template

If you already have document templates available, you can use these when you upload a document.

πŸ“ŒNote: Any changes you make only apply to the document you're uploading and not the template itself.

  1. Select the check box for the relevant template.

  2. Click Next then click Launch Editor.

  3. Amend the details as required then click Save.

You can assign templates in bulk using Ripple.

Add a link

  1. In the employee's documents, under Display Link Text, enter the name of the document.

  2. Add the relevant URL.

  3. If required, select Employee Access.

  4. If required, select Manager Access then select Signature Required.

πŸ“ŒNote: If you're a manager uploading a document, you can't amend the Manager Access setting.

  5. Click Save.
