To submit your expenses using the mobile app, watch this video or follow the steps below.
There are two ways to add an expense:
Via the dashboard: This is great for when you're in a rush. Simply add the amount and, if required, a photo of the receipt then add the rest of the details later.
Via the main menu: Add your expense and complete all necessary details.
Quick add via the dashboard
On the first Dashboard screen, tap Add Expenses.
Tap one of No photo, Take photo, Upload from gallery, or Upload PDF.
Type the amount of this specific expense.
Tap Done then type the name of the expense.
Tap either:
Clicking choose an existing: Select the report to add this expense to.
Clicking new report: Type a name for the new report, specify what currency, and the date in which the report started, and select your default tax code for this report. You can change the tax code per individual expense item.
You can then complete this via the expense tab in the main menu as described below.
Via the main menu
Tap the three lines menu then tap Expenses.
Select a report to add this expense to, or tap the plus icon.
If you're creating a new report, select your default tax code for this report. You can change the tax code per individual expense.On the Expenses screen.
On IOS tap Add receipt or Upload PDF.
On Android tap either Take photo, Upload from gallery or Upload PDF.
Enter the appropriate details for your expense.
Tap Save then select one of the following options:
To add another expense, tap the plus + icon.
If the whole expense report is complete, tap Submit for approval.
To exit from this report for the time being, tap the Back arrow. Your changes are still there the next time you view the report.
Once you submit the report, the approver gets an email or notification letting them know that you've requested an expense. Once approved or declined, you receive an email.
πNote: Make sure you are updated to the latest version of the mobile app.
You can only upload PDF files using the expense form. For other file types, you can make a screenshot of the file and upload it as a JPG or PNG file type.
