Getting logged out of the system

I keep getting logged out seconds after I log in.

You can be logged out of the system for a few reasons:

  • Your system admin has set a system timeout period within Access Button image the Employee then Settings - Company.

  • Your PeopleHR is open in multiple tabs, browsers or devices at the same time. For security reasons, this should only be open on one tab/screen.

  • The system does not consider typing as system activity, only clicks. If you're typing a lot of information, you may be timed out as inactive. We advise saving every now and then to ensure you don't lose your work.

  • A browser issue that can be sorted by clearing the cache memory.

If you're still experiencing the issue, raise a new case online and reference the title of this article, confirming the following details:

  • name of the employee affected.

  • time before being logged out.

  • browser version used.
