Error: 'Signing into this application requires an active Access Evo Account'

When I try to log into Access Evo, I get the message signing into this application requires an active Access Evo Account.

This error has a number of causes, the most common of which are outlined below:

  • Your Access Evo (previously Access Workspace) account is inactive.

  • You're using an incorrect link to log in, you must sign in via go.accessacloud.com.

  • There is a typing error in the email address you entered.

  • You haven't received your welcome email yet.

If you check all of the above and still see the error, please ask your Access Evo administrator to try the steps below.

Check the user's status

You should check whether the user's account is active.

  1. Click Access Button image then select Spaces.

  2. Click the members image.png icon then click the filter image.png icon.

  3. Clear the Include active check box then check whether the user appears.

If the user is listed as inactive but should be active, you can easily activate their account.


Check if the user is a Username or Email User

You will need to check if the user is a username or email user.

To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Access Button image then select Spaces.

  2. Click the members image.png icon then search for the user.

  3. Identity if email is present, if no email address the user will be a username user.


Change user from Username to Email User

  1. Click the Access Button image then select Spaces.

  2. Click the members image.png icon then search for the user.

  3. Identify if the email address is missing then click 3 dots in the corner.

  4. Select Switch to Email Account then enter email address and click save.
