Pre-processing validation errors will occur when the system cannot recognise or process the Excel sheet due to formatting or data issues.

You can fix the errors by following the steps below:

  1. Rename your failed validation Excel CSV file to <Screen Name>LogbookData_Old.xls.

  2. Open your now renamed (old) Excel CSV file, then copy the contents of the workbook only.

  3. Open a new blank workbook, paste the contents you just copied from the old worksheet into this new sheet.

  4. Remove the instructions row at the top of the Excel Sheet, then check you only have 1 worksheet and its named "LogbookData ".

  5. Name your new workbook ScreenName_Logbook. This is case sensitive and must be xls file format.

  6. Click Access Button image then click HR Admin.

  7. lick bulk actions, then select Data Loaders.

  8. Select Logbook Data Upload, then click the Logbook Screen Name.

  9. Select Browse, then locate your sheet.

  10. Click the Validate Excel, then select Upload Data.
