Ripple sending emails when it shouldn't

When setting up a ripple, you can choose a specific recurrence for it to trigger emails.

  1. Click Access Button image then click HR Admin.

  2. Click ripple then select the star icon next to the relevant ripple.

  3. Click the pencil icon then populate the following field.

    • This ripple will never repeat for an employee unless you allow this ripple to repeat every days days.

  4. Click out of the box then click Save.

If you wish the ripple to send out emails only once, leave the box blank.

Ripple can also send one email after another if there is no wait step in between the email steps, and you have a GoTo step that creates a loop between the Email steps.

If you have multiple emails in one Ripple and you wish to wait a few days before each reminder, you need to add a Wait step between them.

If you are filtering the query that is linked to Ripple by using the Days After Anniversary filter, this will pick up employees based on the date the anniversary falls on. Example: if you need to pick up employees 456 days after their start date, this can pick up users a few months after their start date, on the day when the anniversary falls on. We recommend filtering the start date by Before (days) 456.
