Error when downloading documents - 'Access denied'

A user is getting an error message on a file download: 'Access denied'

If you're trying to download a document from the system, but instead are presented with an Access Denied error message, this may be something to do with your browser. Here's a few things you can try first:

  • Try a different browser.

  • If the above does not help, we advise speaking with your IT team. They may have set some additional security measures for work computers or wifi.

  • Contact your system admin as you may not have access to the document you are trying to download outside of the PeopleHR system.
