The Confirmed by HR tick box within sicknesses is not part of the system notifications and email notifications that are triggered by default within PeopleHR.
To inform HR of this, the managers will need to reach out to the system admins, or create a new custom task and assign it to them.
You can also create an automated ripple workflow for this.
