If you are presented with this error, follow the below troubleshooting steps.

Increase the geo-fence

  1. Click Access Button image then click HR Admin.

  2. Click Settings, then click Mobile.

  3. Select the relevant location, then click Next.

  4. In the Draw Region tab, increase the geo-fence, but make sure this is not overlapping with another location.

  5. Click Save.

Turn on the precise location on Android

  1. On your Android device, open the Settings app.

  2. In the search bar, input PeopleHR then tap on it.

  3. In the App permissions section tap on Location.

  4. On the Location permissions for this app, select Allow all the time.

  5. Then, enable Use precise location.

πŸ“ŒNote: The steps or the name of the options may vary, depending on your Android version.

Turn on the precise location on iOS

  1. On your iOS device, open the Settings app, then search and tap App Store.

  2. Tap on Location, then turn on Precise Location.

  3. Whilst still in your phone's settings, input PeopleHR in the search bar.

  4. Tap on Location, and set the Allow Location Access option to Always.

  5. Turn on the Precise Location option.

πŸ“ŒNote: The steps or the name of the options may vary, depending on your Android version.

Ensure that users are not being assigned to more than one location in the same geo-fence

  1. Click Access Button image then click HR Admin.

  2. Click Settings, then click Mobile.

  3. On all the locations at a time, select the EYE icon.

  4. Click Test Rule and make sure the employee doesn't appear in more than one location.

If you still want to assign them to multiple specific locations, make sure the geo-fences are not overlapping.

πŸ“ŒNote: If you want the users to be able to tap in on multiple locations, then they shouldn't be assigned to any location so they can tap in freely.
